Welcome to grahamwoodhouse.com

Graham Woodhouse is a trombone player from the English City of Derby and is proud to still reside there after years of travelling the world on his 'trombone ticket'. Since 2004, Graham has been playing trombone with the internationally renowned "Pete Allen Jazz Band", performing at jazz clubs and major festivals up and down the country and throughout Europe.

Graham's accomplished technique means he is much sought after on the jazz circuit, performing with various bands. Alan Smith of the Nottingham Evening Post stated in his review of Graham's album release in 2004, "There is a real joy about his playing".

Graham first led his own band in 1987 when he formed the "Graham Woodhouse Swing Band" which is still in existence today despite periods of in-activity whilst Graham has been working overseas and on other projects.

Although working with Pete Allen keeps him quite busy, Graham has also found time to form another band in the more traditional style, the "Derwent City Jazz Band", emulating the styles of the great bands of the British Trad-Boom era of the late 50s and early 60s.
